What ballast do I need for a SOX lamp?
SOX lamps require a compatible ballast matched to the lamp wattage. Common SOX lamp wattages include 18W, 35W, and 55W, each requiring a corresponding ballast for proper starting and operation. We also offer compatible lamp sockets on our website.

Does the ballast include the lamp holder/socket?
The ballast is sold separately unless purchased as part of a bundle. Please check the product description to confirm what is included with your order.
How long does a SOX lamp take to reach full brightness?
SOX lamps require a short warm-up period after ignition. The lamp will gradually increase in brightness and typically reaches full output within several minutes. Warm-up time may vary depending on the ballast and operating conditions.
Can this ballast be used worldwide?
Yes. The ballast automatically supports input voltages from 110–240V AC, making it suitable for use in most countries worldwide when paired with the appropriate mains plug and wiring.
Do I need a ballast to operate a SOX lamp?
